About Me
Helping people, partners and non-profit leadership teams express their best selves.
There have been many compelling twists and turns that have brought me to this moment in time with the unique set of talents and skills which I humbly offer as part of my coaching practice.
Like you, I strive to be my best self. As early as I can remember, I’ve sought ways to improve. I studied Psychology in undergrad because I was curious about human motivation and potential. Then, in 2000, I discovered the curriculum offered by Landmark Education. These programs literally altered the course of my life. I was empowered to pursue my dreams and developed a deep understanding of human proclivities and a means to empower others. This is where I got my first experience in popular coaching and discovered my passion for helping people transform their lives. So inspired, I completed my first life coach training.
Years later, I participated in a number of courses at PAX Programs, Inc. which, along with an abundance of books on the topic, illuminated empowering and inspiring perspectives on the dynamics between men and women, and how to navigate them in romantic partnerships. Then in 2009, seeking new insights and opportunities to examine what it means to be intimate, I encountered the curriculum offered by the Human Awareness Institute which explores sex, love and intimacy. These bold and provocative experiential workshops inspire self-acceptance, love, connection and sexual honesty.
In 2013, I earned a Master’s degree in Organizational Management and Development with an emphasis in Integral Studies based on the work of Ken Wilber. This coursework inspired an appreciation for learning through social engagement as well as a comprehensive, integral viewpoint and approach.
In 2016, I began a graduate certificate program in Evidence-based Coaching. Early in the program, I discovered the CliftonStrengths assessment and strengths-based development. Of all of the powerful curricula I’ve experienced, the strengths-based development model, from my perspective, is the most accessible and one of the richest and most illuminating models I’ve encountered. Strengths coaching allows the client to generate new insights, identify new opportunities for action and produce expanded results by focusing on their natural talents.
After 20+ years working in a world-class organization and 15+ years studying transformative learning, navigating change and romantic partnership, I specialize in helping people, partners and non-profit leadership teams live love and work with greater clarity intention and alignment with purpose. I share my journey because my coaching is informed by my passion for human potential, as well as the wealth of perspectives and models to which I’ve exposed myself. My desire is for each of us to recognize that we are worthy and capable of creating success both individually and together, and that we are most beautiful and effective when we are willing to be exactly who we are. My strengths are my ability to create a safe space, to listen in a way that elicits your deepest desires and commitments, and to ask questions that inspire you to think in new ways.
I look forward to working with you.
